About the Idea

“Pigro” means “lazy” in Italian, and we want you to be a little bit lazier by creating technology that solves problems before you even know they exist.

An algorithm to help people finding content

Where it all began

Pigro, like Rome, wasn’t built in a day. It all started with an algorithm. Then, we began to use it.

How could a formula designed - in general terms - to help people finding content satisfy a real need?

Initially, Pigro was an aggregator of news that provided a summary of the most relevant information of the day, avoiding textual repetitions and giving the user synthesized and effective content. Since the news industry was difficult to monetize and already overtaken, we decided to take inspiration from what were the overseas trend.

Towards a new Knowledge Experience

Since we noticed that nowadays knowledge management is one of the key issues in large companies, we embraced the challenge.

We built a complete service upon the algorithm and around enterprises and organizations.

From the importing of contents to the creation of new material, we follow you, step by step, and guide you to a new knowledge experience.

The idea behind "Pigro"

The name “Pigro” means lazy in Italian. It is inspired, not by chance, by a Bill Gates’ quote:

“I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it”.

We want you and your customers to be a little lazier, by simplifying the knowledge management research and content curation, thus allowing you to focus on more valuable work.
